I recently sorted out my membership, and I was just wondering. Isn't there supposed to be gold stars or an "I supported toymods" thingy next to my name now? [Report message to a moderator]

The I supported Toymods thing is from the fund raising thread where people made donations towards the running cost of the forum. As to identification for who is a member and who isn't we are looking into ways to do this at the moment. The big problem is that it introduces a lot of overhead in keeping up with who's who and who is a current member etc. I guess we'll get to discuss this one at the next board meeting. I might have to organise to have the next day off work this is gonna be a long one [Report message to a moderator]

Perhaps you could integrate membership into the forums? Make membership only available via the web (either DD or CC). When people make a payment online for membership, it automatically adds "Official Member" to their name or some such. Then all you need is a small database linked into the toymods website that keeps track of who has paid for membership and when it expires. I don't know how handy you are with your HTML/DB/scripting, so it may be more hassle than it's worth. Just a thought I guess. [Report message to a moderator]

Because he hsa VP instead. The forum only supports one title. EDIT: Also i know its a whole lot of work, but phpBB does support multiple user groups, and other funky stuff like that. I dont know if it can be ported from FUD though. We could make a skin for the new phpBB forum with the old fud layout which i like.
