Saw an xa6x celica today, coupe shape but it had a 1.8 badge on the back. Is this just bull crap or did they actualy ever come with a 1.8ltre of some sort. If it helps the rear lights looked like normal coupe type ones but it had a wierd center peice, where the numbplate goes

I think you mean MA63
You own an Aus Delivered MA61!
I think the SA63 wasn't available here.
The RA60 and RA65 obviously were.
And the AA63 is JDM, but a different shape.
The MA60 and MA67 are USDM too.

i know we got ra60, sa63 and ra65
If anyone has any good information reguarding any a6, let me know. Really curious to find out things about the aa63 caldina too, like stock weight and stuff.
come to think of it, the very first gen camry was an a6 too

From what I understand the TA63 in 2 door Celica and 2 and 4 door Carina were available in Japan and some parts of Europe. There were quite a few imported into NZ as secondhand jap imports. The Carina seems more common than the Celica.
