Sounds nice, how do you find the GT4 seats in there? I'm looking for some new seats for my 23, and have been considering MX5, GT4 and MR2 seats. I'm about 6'3 so I need something that isn't going have me sitting too much higher than the originals!

thanks guys,i was a bit excited about finally being able to get some pics up,ill take some today in the light,no wash but, dont have the time..I believe the diff is out of a later model corona, the dash is costing $245 from restore a dash in Milperra, and the gauges go the same colour blue of a night, cant wait to see it as i have had the vision of the stock looking white to blue dials for years..
Ill put some different pics up to replace those shitty ones...

I'm gonna use you for an accelerator pedal.

Naa I love it! and the door trims, and all the other little extra near GT like specs...from my understanding the ST came out like an unoptioned GTV,if I could afford Simons GTV badge for the rear and could somehow source one for the front thats the type of replica she'd be.

Thanks for the posative feedback soulfire!
As for the katakana style, toyots symbol,Im not sure where to get one,I got it with the car,and to be honest only noticed it after I started putting in the gauges I must say I was pretty stoked when I worked out what it was What im going to do is see if i can get it out Ill scan it up on the computer and if anyone has an old style wheel that it will fit into, ill just send you an actual size pic and you can just print it out and stick it in..

I havn't seen that type of badge on the rear embellishing panel before...the badge on it looks like it originally came off a grill (like the one you have).
However, with the blocky GT badge, I have only ever seen them positioned to the left...(US, Euro GTs on the passenger side). However, the JDM longnose TA22 (GTV) had the blocky badge and was positioned in the centre
eg. http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m131 22351
I guess this was the same for the GT variant...but the GT badge would have had the same script as the GTV one in the picture.

Thanks for the info 74,its exactly what I thought, when I saw the rear badge I checked if it was curved to go on the panel of the flat style tail lights but its straight as,if anyone else knows what exact model its off that would be great,or if its a back badge at all.
As for the gauges here are some more pics, they are VDO and the pics show just how stock they look go teh 280k speedo

Thanks Rod,I just called him and the rear badge did actually come off the flat panel style tail lights,so that would support your theory of it being the first model.
The problem I now face is I really am starting to not like the look of them. The front I can put up with, especially after I detail it and get a new dragon badge to go underneath, but the rear makes baby jesus cry!! I though they were the italic ones when I initially bought them, but I guess thats what you get for buying stuff sight unseen Im now faced with the question of wether to buy the back tail lights and rear panel off him to go with the badges but ive never really been a huge fan of them either..I think ill grab them anyway, put them on and have a look for myself,If I dont like them ill sell them
Also Rod, what was done to your grill, chromed, polished? cause I think thats the way I want to go with mine!! Cheers
Scrote, thanks for that, now do you wana get me out of this mess and sell me your rear Italic GT badge???

My grill was/is painted in a silver grey mix. I have to get the new one redone to take the italic GT badge tho.
Its been a long while since I played around with the two different rear tail lights but they are not a straight bolt in swap. Just can't remember which one is slightly bigger ? Scrote might ! We did it to one of his old TA22's.

Thanks Rod, just to clariry, are we talking about the GTV one that you ended up selling? cause thats the look I want..mmm so the rear taillights dont just slot straight in..I might just give it a miss as I dont want to be chopping up the old girl in any way..
