Race o' the Year!

Alright this is a cool one:
So the other day, I'm drivin down Elk Grove-Florin Road in my RA65 and this riced-up '98 Civic is going pretty slow so I spin it up and buzz past him. Then hit the red light. I look over and check out his shit: Exhaust, rims, the usual. He revs it up a little (i guessed passing him pissed him off). So I was supposed to turn but i flick the signal off and rev back. He looks over and I look over and give "the head nod". Now keep in mind, my stock, in need of valve tightening, etc. 22R-E can't hope to compete with even a non-VTEC Civic...stock! This is gonna be fun!
Light hits Green! I rev 'em up and loose the clutch and the rig jolts to a start. The 22R-E screams as I let loose and I actually gain on the Civic off the line from torque. I spin it up to 4900 and right when I feel it start to drop off, I slam it into 2nd and hear the rears chirp. By this point Civic is gaining...FAST! Well I knew I would loose and let him go past. Ahhh but it was fun. I drive home and look at picks of the
1G-GTE and the day VTEC will meet it's match in the form of
Old-Skool Toyota...BEOTCH!
