quality of rubbers from australian company's Sat, 27 November 2004 19:03 Go to next message
Hello

I am from holland and I am restoring a TA 23 from '76.
I've searched the internet and found out that there are some companies over there in aust. who can deliver packages off new rubbers for my car.
http://www.scottsoldautorubber.com.au/

http://www.autorubbers.com.au/

Does anyone around here ordered some off these parts and can tell me about the quality of these????
I want to order a package but to get it over here in Holland costs me i little fortune so I want to be sure its good stuff Smile Smile Smile Smile

thank you all in advance

I've bought a ton (not literally) of stuff from Bill Thompson AUto Rubber's in Ringwood (Victoria, AU). Very helpful, have had MOST of the parts I've needed, and reasonably priced. If they haven't got anything, then the only other place to try has usually been Scott's.. Haven't bought anything off them though, they do however have a fair few parts that I have been meaning to get.

celicafabian!

There's a company in Finland that sells rubbers for old cars and they have listed RA23 and RA28.

http://www.oitracon.fi/tiiviste/esittely.html
Here is their web site.

I can translate if you want!

Yes! Cheaper and there's no tolls or customs because both countries are inside EU Cool . They only state that you can get rubbers for old Celica. No prices nor particular list of rubbers. As I understand, they can provide full range of all sort of rubbers. They say that delivery of the goods will take 2 to 4 weeks. E-mail them or should I? And no, I have not ordered anything from them.
