constructed and tacked together by myself and final weld by my old man as my welding still has more to be improved on. 
i wish i had bought my die grinder earlier, filing out the flange by hand was a real bastard.

ok ladies and gentleman,
I have just been speaking to a source who is currently in NZ. He has mentioned that there is a custom fabrication place there that makes top notch manifolds in steam/stainless finish.
He'll be returning on Jan 12th, so what i was thinking was, if there is some interest here for manifolds to be made and brought over, then we might save abit of money.
Current rough estimate starting prices before possible discount is as follows:
$420 AUD for steam turbo manifold
$635 AUD for stainless turbo manifold
These prices are not yet confirmed, but will be followed up in the coming days with pics and dimensions.
So who would like these prices to be down? I guess the more people who would be interested and have the dosh before Jan 12th the better the chances these will be produced and brought over at a good price.
I for one will DEFINATELY cough up the cash.

steam pipe manifolds are alot heavier than s/steel manifolds. just to let you know. i think there is a difference in thickness too?

Yeah i have heard that steam pipe manifolds are alot heavier but they are also stronger?? I dont know.
I am still in two minds about what material to use. If a s/steel manifold can be constructed easier to flow better then a steam pipe then s/steel will be the go.
I have also heard that under high heat levels the stainless manifolds are prone to cracking, but i see a heap of s/steel manifolds on S13's, 180's and the likes.??

It's 3 years old, never had a problem. Tough as nails, all the inside of mine is ported too so no join marks or weld protruding from the inside.
I only have a small bay so the design of my manifold had to ensure that the turbo would fit without fouling on anything.
If you go stainless steel make sure you brace it well!!!!
My dump pipe is stainless and has had no probs at all, but it does not have the same stress as a manifold.
