KE30 Brake Booster Upgrade

Hey guys
I'm in the process of upgrading the brakes on my KE30 and was wondering what brake booster to run.
I am using RA40 brakes front and rear and was going to fit the RA40 master cylinder to the KE30 booster but I was told by a reliable source that this booster would be too small.
So I was wondering what boosters other people were using and how they performed.
Any feedback would be great.
Thanks
Brad

Not speaking with specific experience of having tried it on a KE30 booster, but I'm doubting you'll have too much trouble myself. I guess it all depends if you like a brake pedal that feels like custard, or one that's a bit firmer. Wouldn't the swap you suggested be going from 19mm to 21mm? In which case I don't think you'll have a huge amount of trouble. Try it and see!
From memory the KE30 doesn't really have a whole lot of room for a bigger booster anyway.

Yeah thats the problem. I was originally going to use the RA40 booster but it would need a bit of panel "adjustment" to fit it in.

Any suggestions guys.
I'm now thinking TA22 booster and master cyl.
These are 13/16" bore, correct?
Can anyone post a pick of a TA22 booster/master cyl?
Thanks

I could be wrong with my thinking here (VERY likely...).
With how the brake booster works, there isn't really any way that it could me to small.. It might make the brakes a little bit harder, but we're talking about a KE30 here, everything in it is a bit harder.
All the booster does is pull vacuum from the manifold, so quite possibly, if you are also upgrading the engine, this could increase slightly as well.. Read beginning comment though.

I haven't really done any more to it. Been really busy with work and just this time of year.
I still plan on using the RA40 brakes. I have fitted one strut. Pictures are here http://home.swiftdsl.com.au/~bradw/.
They bolt straight in but I plan on swapping the lower spring mount with the corolla one which will involve some welding. I don't know whether you would get away with keeping the celica spring mount or if they would foul on the strut tower.
I was also going to use the RA40 master cylinder. This bolts up to the KE30 booster but I have since found that one of the brake lines won't bolt up because the strut tower is in the way . So now I'm thinking TA2x or RA2x master cylinder. I just have to find some time to get my butt to pick n payless to do some research. Looks like it can wait till after the new year.
Engine wise I was going to fit a 4AGE but it looks like I will fit a 2TG instead. It all depends on finances and what parts I can scam .
