31 Years Young Sun, 28 November 2004 09:55 Go to next message
Hi,

I've pinned my car down to being built in late 1973. So, that makes my old girl 31 years young, and she still looks and goes as good as she did when she was new. Also, she's still original and in one piece. It's the oldest thing I have ever owned. I'm kinda proud of that and maybe, in another 32 years, I can send another post and tell ya how good she's going in 2036!

Your car should be at least 5 yrs older than you. Maybe that's the P plate soultion . Revert back to steam powered cars.

Hi,

Yeah, I got pics at http://www.classic-celica.com/modules.php?set_albu mName=ra25aus&op=modload&name=gallery& file=index&include=view_album.php

Alas, I am of more vintage age than my car and probably not in as good a condition.

Maybe the P-plate solution is to let only P-platers drive electric cars only. Maybe those 3-wheel gophers that old people use. However, I'm sure there's the odd P-plater out there who'd kill themselves in one of these things too.

Even though I'm 10 years into an open license, all I can say is yes please to an electric car.
