CV boots, can they be replaced? Sun, 28 November 2004 14:19 Go to next message
In removing the engine/gearbox from my frontcut the CV boot on one driveshaft was torn Crying or Very Sad
Can you replace the boot only? or do I need to get new shafts?

any idea how much new or reco shafts are to suit AE92 with C52?

Haven't tried removing the shafts from the uprights yet, any tips on that so I don't do any more damage?

Thanks in advance
Julian
Brisbane.

PS. No I can't just use my existing shafts as the CV's are rooted

You can replace just the boot, simply go down to your local spare parts store with the CV and they should be able to match it up there.

Also to take them out get to big arse flat head screw drivers and wedge them out.

Yeah I know,
