icon6.gif  Toyota Crown MS65, 1974 manual. - $1200 MUST GO Mon, 29 November 2004 00:41 Go to next message
MUST GO - $1200 if sold before March 11th
(Will be sold with 14 x 6" kidney mags if sold for $1200)

UPDATE - The old Girl has to go Sad

Suspension is stiffeened and Raised for towing/touring.
Rear diff is an F series MS85 unit with the 10" rear drums.
The 4M benefits from a 5M-E electronic ignition and a Celica 5 speed (W50) but is otherwise stock.

Carby now has a new diaphram for the secondary which makes a crapload of difference Smile Tows quite nicely now and the trailer wiring has just been redone to plug in and out and is located inside the boot.

Wheels and Tires are 14" Stealies with Whitewalls and hubcaps all round.

Interior is still nice and tidy with new Black Carpet, all new dash globes and even a working clock. Drivers seat is showing signs of age and would benefit from a seat cover.

The electrical system has seen some attention with the car being completely rewired to remove some issues it had and add in the Factory Airconditioning (Still not conected in the bay ). It also received a Halegeon Headlight Upgrade (90/100 watt Low/High Beam and 150 watt Landing lights) Its soooooo good at night on the open road

Alternater of course then needed replacing to an 85 amp unit and it runs a 670CCA Truck battery as well.

Stereo is a pinonner front loader CD with Amp and 6x9 Speakers in the rear parcel shelf

Bodywork is great for its age appart from some minor damage to the passenger side guard. I have a spare Guard that will come with the car if desired altho the damage is minor and easily repairable.

And don't forget the rear venetians !

Brake master cylinder has been stainless steel sleaved out to a 1" bore and completely overhauled.

Vehicle is driven daily and very reliable Forced sale due to lack of room and new addition to the fleet.

Here is why I am Selling it:

Nick,

When I wired up the stereo I actually fell asleep in the boot so its a decent size. Not sure if the BMX will fit but your welcome to come and have a look. Is got the towbar tho so worse case you could use a bike rack ?

Rego expires 8th April 2005.

The paint looks remarkable in these pictures. Has the car been re-sprayed at all?

TA plus22,

The paint on the old girl does come up quite well after a wash and a polish, the roof is showing signs of its age tho with some light crazing starting when you look closely. The front end was repainted about 18 months ago as it was starting to fade.

Sharpie,

With the Whitewalls I would have to get at least $1500 mate. Toi replace them is going to set me back allot more than $300 !

Hubcaps I am happpy to sell with the car tho and are included in the $1200. Its the tyres themselves I was intending to hang onto. But if you want them before I take em off then thats no worries.

Rod.
