Okay,

I have a Ta22 im in the prcess of getting going.

plan is to run a 4age 100kw.... no drama's there.

Since I cant afford to buy a 4age til JAN FEB 05 i was thinking of picking up a 4ac (some1's freebie doesnt have to run) or other 4a motor to use as a trial fitter.

Im assuming if a 4age is a bolt in to cars with 4ac's originally that this method may work.

That way i can get auxillarys arranged and positioning down roughly to speed things up.

also what ancillaries (ie coil, aircon, etc.) are usable from the 4ac on the 4age if any?

Or am i wwwaaayyyyy off base with this idea?

Cheers

Nathan

In terms of setting up your engine mounts and gearbox your idea isn't a bad one.

But none of the other stuff is the same. Different AC pump, different coil. 4AC doesn't have ignitor.

All the water outlets are different too.

So all you can really use the 4ac for is mounts.

Cheers
