7MGTE Cressida Turbo Sleeper! - SOLD. Wed, 01 December 2004 03:23 Go to next message
Hey All,

Looks like I may have to part with the Cressida as I'm moving to Southbank and we only get one car space. The g/f and I have decided to sell up both of our cars and go halves in something we can both agree on.

Details are;

* Silver 1989 MX83 Cressida GLX
* 7MGTE 3 litre, 24 valve, twin cam turbo - you guys know the drill..
* R154A Supra 5 speed.
* Haltech E6K - full engine management computer
* Supra frount mount intercooler
* Pod filter on custom intake pipe (no AFM)
* Boost controller (11 PSI max, cannot run over with this controller, so no high boost runs!)
* 3" Custom exhaust with hi flow cat (receipt for $1100)
* Brand new super sequential (SSQV) Blow off valve
* Speco Boost gauge
* Oil pressure gauge in engine bay
* Brand new (being fitted tomorrow) lowered king springs rear
* Brand new rear brake pads
* New leads, plugs, just serviced and comp tested. (Excellent compression)
* Alpine 3 minidisc stacker with front splits and remote
* Blaukpunkt 4 channel amp

Recently dynoed at 165rwk at 11PSI
Has run 14.4 second quarter, but with new springs now installed and better tyres would expect 13's.

Body is in excellent condition, slight scuffing on the bottom of the front bar is the only blemish (it's not very noticeable)
Interior is excellent also, blue velour. Usual wear to seats and carpet but would rate it better than average, cleans up brilliantly.

Things to be aware of; no LSD at this stage, although I can potentially supply an MA70 supra torsen LSD for an additional $350.

Car is NOT engineered, but is registered. Currently registered with original engine numbers etc. and will continue to be registered this way upon sale. RWC is not included in price, although most of the work has now been done. I have a list and am currently working through it.
Will require little more than a new windscreen.

Asking price is now $7,500 car is located in Dingley at the moment, I have now moved to Southbank, so best time to view is on weekends, or maybe late evenings.

Please contact me via PM or email - skirby@membersequity.com.au

NO! Test drive and inspections of the car are more than welcome. I have had this car up on a hoist for 2 hours with a trusted mechanic and I am willing to divulge everything he pointed out to serious buyers. This car drives beautifully, is very quick and is now 90% roadworthy. Has been in a suspension workshop today getting brakes and rear springs done, is going into an auto elec tomorrow to have a couple of minor things sorted then all it needs is a windscreen.

Too far? It's a pic that was going around work today for no good reason.. thought I'd give it a home..

I won't post pics of the g/f I think that would defeat the purpose of trying to keep her happy here.. Very Happy

Not at this stage sorry mate, we haven't decided what we are going to get, so I'm going to put the cash away until we sell her car too.

Maybe you could just sell your's though?

For those still interested in the car, I am close to obtaining the RWC which will make this a nice easy transfer.

Price with RWC will be slightly higher as I am still spending $$ on the car even though I'm not driving it!

Email or PM me for details.

Bump this - the car is doing nothing.. seems like a real waste to me!

Somebody will be very happy driving this around. I usually can't stop smiling when I'm in this car..

Come out for a test drive, you won't regret it!

When are you going to get the engineers report that will make it even easier?

I'm selling the car registered with the original engine number, so it's as easy as filling in the transfer paper and getting yourself a RWC. Because I have now done most of the work, I am willing to negotiate prices with RWC included, so you just mail the RWC and transfer paper with your payment for the stamp duty and it's all yours.

I don't have the time nor am I willing to spend more money on the car to get the engineering done if I'm not going to be keeping it. That's something the buyer can look into if they want to go down that road.

Cheers,

Scott
