Any full licenced driver in melbourne not have a car for the dec 11th+12th weekend?

Ey there,
I'm just wondering.. what the topic says . But yeah, I'm on my L's and want to take my car to both events, but don't have anyone to sit passenger. Just wondering if anyone wants to go and was either not going or catching a lift with someone because their car is screwed. Can anyone help me out?
Thanks,
Kev.

Aahh.. . not sure ho to put this. I've never been good at tactfulness.
I was almost considering riding shotgun for ya there Phrosty, then I followed one of the links to your pride and joy.
Now I'm not sure if I'd tag-along even IF you got that girl in da avatar along for the day!
I'm not trying to break your little L-plated heart bro, but even I have certain credibility standards I won't go below - and I drive a pussbox FWD Celica ! ! !
Don't feel bad tho - I "cruised" most of my P's in a boxy, overweight late-80s toyota crown.
Diesel.
non-turbo.
wiv teh aids.
(I had to cruise - it wouldn't break 110km/h)

I know- that's why I mentioned my first-car stint in the Crown, to point out that my starting point was "best superlucky mega-Lame".
Like I said, never been real strong on the subtle/tactful thing...
I just read the page on one of the other links - I didn't realise the drivetrain was packed chock-full of potential.
Soz Phrostbyte ! ! !
C'mon tho - the beige paint is hard to take on face value - that's the colour of my Grandpa's car. Seriously - it really is!
That white, modded Corolla LOOKS plenty tuff enuff. I guess it's a problem with my (and 99% of peoples??) perceptions at first glance. Hence the "credibility" comment.
On the upside, the PhrostyMobile may end up being the super-sleeper of the century ! ! !

i can see it fine?
by the look of the wheels and the price, im assuimg they came with some dam good rubber?
so did you make it out to whatever it was you were going to? drift nats?
are you going to paint the car yourself?
if you planned on paying full price for it, stuff that! you could do so much more to the car performance wise for that price
with these old corolla's im all for doing performance work and keeping it looking ordinary, check out the link in my sig!
they have potential to go hard, but if theyre not going to look that great, dont spend much money on that side of things, leave that to the ae86 boys (but thats the way i see things)

yeah $200 for the rims, then I found out the rubber was the wrong size for my car... So I thought I'd go all out and get a set of some good tyres for $400. FUCK I wanted to go today SO FUCKING badly. FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK.... outburst over...
Oh well, thanks anyway boys and I hope you had heaps of fun without me... I should be at the drifts tomorrow anyway, got a passenger for that a week ago.

Ahhh looks like my passenger bailed... oh well, my bro is gonna sit passenger for me tomorrow and we're goin for a cruise, should be good fun anyway.
If anyone isn't interested in goin to calder, maybe come for a cruise with us? Will be leaving berwick at about 2:30PM, goin up probably through the black spur or maybe somewhere near mt dandenong, and getting back some time around 6-8PM i'd be thinking.
If anyone wants to come, gimme a ring, 0401 372 024 and I'll hook you up a meeting place.

Watch out for the speed cameras over the black spur - and the motorcycle cops on da weekends. The goddamn pigs are doing their best to ruin everyone's fun up there.
Nice rims too doood. I'm not doubting your commitment to having the most int3n3se muddaphreakin ke70 Corrolla on de planet, I just blurted my first impression when I saw a pic of it stock-as-a-rock.
Drive ON ! ! !

crusing in the 4kc would be exactly that cruising, good to see you have plans for a conversion cos driving my sis's ke70 is so boring. Foot flat to the floor going up a hill and the thing is still slowing down, versus the rona sligth flex of the ankle and woops i'm past the limit.

dont know how it worked, but chopping holes in the intake actually let me raise the RPM on the 4kc a bit more, so now i can make it up most hills without slowing down and gear changes are alot smoother. But anyway, thanks for the comments dudes
