People often say that Autotecnica wheels and Momo wheels are the same pattern, they do, BUT the momo wheels are like:

...*...
*.....*
.......
*.....*
...*...

whearas most Autotecnica ones are like this:

..*..*..
........
*......*
........
..*..*..

(or vise versa, I can't remember)
For what it's worth, an autotecnica hub has holes for both patterns and will fit Momo AND autotecnica wheels, but a Momo hub only has one set of holes and will only do Momo-pattern wheels.

I don't know, sorry. I emailed Autotecnica about it because I was going to sell the Autottecnica one in my RA65, and they said they unfortunately didn't make one for the AE86. Said the celica one might work, but the stalks might be too close to the wheel (or soemthing)

ah fair enough l thought it would fit any steering wheel, anyway l was told the autotechnica ones were $70 from autobarn, the momo ones are alot more than that l will not sell for less than $70 though, l'm in no rush if not sold l'll keep til l eventually buy another AE86, also is anyone interested in a set of V4 simmons 15x7 and 15x8 deep dish with white center? with tyres 195/50 & 215/55's still have some tread not heaps though l want around $950 for the set they have a perfect offset for the front of the ae86's l have them currently on mine.

Hey All,

A friend gave my brother an Autotechnica Sports Wheel and he naturally fitted into the SA63. Story goes he got an Autotechnica Boss kit for it and it would not fit properly on the shaft, so he went out and swapped it for a SAAS boss kit which fits the shaft. So now he has an Autotechnica Wheel on a SAAS boss kit. He says that he would much prefer the SAAS boss kit then the Autotechnica.

I have include a picture of the one he installed, its the gray one on the left.

Cheers.

Hi all,

I have an Autotecnica boss kit as well on an AE86. The part is interchangeable with some Hyundai models.

The only thing I did was get a 30mm spacer made up which is held on with counter sunk allen key bolts on the opposing Momo PCD pattern (as both patterns exist on the boss kit, as has been mentioned already).

This was done to clear the stalks issue. Kopdis, does the Momo boss kit have this issue on the AE86 where the wheel is brought to close to the stalks without making a spacer?

yes with the momo boss kit it does only have alittle more than a fingers width between the wheel and the indicator stalk, a 30mm spacer would be perfect, however l simply heated the stalk with a paint stripper gun and 're-designed' it Smile works beautiful now.

ctr1228. are you one of the guys from kamakaze? who are you? if you want my kit l'm willing to sell for $60

How long is the boss kit?

btw, how many different bolt patterns are there except the momo and the autotechnica/saas patterns? Coz I've got a steering wheel that's got the bolt on top, looks like momo, but the wheel is not made by momo, but not sure if the bolt spacings are the same..
