My first night as a bouncer continued.
On my first night I also had to deal with the sensative issue of how to stop a goth girl trying to claw our eyes out while all the guys in the bar are watching us without using physical force.
First up, back in those days the barchicks at the amplifier were all punks. The head barbitch's name was Mado, we used to call her the lovechild of a parrot. She had bright spikey multi-coloured hair, eyebrows painted on, used to wear things like gaffer tape on her nipples with "whore" written between her breasts, totally mad. Perth people can see her band "trash ivory" play next week at the Amplifier, they used to be called "Trash and the wife beaters" till womens groups made them change it.
Anyway, this little goth girl is really giving us the shits, screaming, swearing, taking swipes at us and generally going nuts like only teen angsty drunk chicks can. We were just pushing her away telling her gently at first to leave, eventually to just fuck off, when the other doorman spots our salvation in the form of Mado on a smoke break.
He yells out "Mado, skitchem up!" and Mado just storms over and starts fulling wailing on this goth chick, it was hilarious, I think I even saw her throw in a "judo chop".
We broke it up and the goth girl ran away, and all joints confiscated that night went to Mado.
I have hundreds of these, I'll just keep em coming 
I don't bounce at amplifier anymore, just the flying scotsman wed-thur-sun and the lucky shag bar fri-sat. I have stories about these places as well

LOL, no thanks... when i was in Perth we used to go clubbing in Northbridge... just wondering where abouts these clubs were... where to stay away from... big bad scary goths and ladies with gaffa tape on their boobies scare me ^-^
now im back in sydney anyways!!!!!

The Globe and Amplifier are part of the same complex. Now called the Monkeybar. Back in the day it was called Pinnochios.

OH MY GOD!! i didnt realise one of the clubs was called 'the globe' !!
A couple of years ago, they had an all ages night, and me and my cousin left (mind you, this was while i was in the care of my nanna, and she didnt know we were going anywhere, and coz my auntie knew we were going 'dancing' she told my nan we were going bootscooting )
aaaaaaaaanyways, we went to the globe, there was a massive lineup etc, and by the time we got in, i was just missed by soem drunk dudes having a punchup.... stayed in there about a half an hour and it was pretty not fun, so we decided to leave, and as we were leaving, a dude was having a bit of a problem with the bouncer, and punched a hole in the wall...
we just went to my cousins house to chill, and next day at my nannas shes asked us 'the globe? isnt that where u 2 went bootscooting?' and we told her nah, not that club, and asked her why, and on the news, someone had been severley stabbed....
i shit you not... thats one badass place lol...

i know man !!!! even just, imagining parts of cotton wool rubbing together, the noise, and the feeling... agh *shudder*
