i broke my diff yesturday and i was wonerding if u can just change the centers?
or do u have to change the whole diff here?
its the borg warner diff
any help would be great

Ok the diff lasted abit over 6 months
but only in the last month did it get launched hard (5000rpm+)
that was with around 55kw on a good day
ps: still need an answer to the original post

well you canchange th centre only but it will most likely cause the local AA members to jump in the back and try to suck the whine out of the new diff. because they are all matched and clearences set from factory they need to be replaced as a whole assy. your pinion wont take too kindly to a new crownwheel. most of the time it is easier to get a whole ass end than a borg centre.

just launched it kinda hard
made a crunch
i didnt take much notice of it
then when i was parking it has driving like i had a locker in it
like chirping when i turned
so i drove home slowly
when i went round corners it would jump teath in the diff
no it was still drivable
but im not game to drive it now
