wheel studs too short

I have just purchased a set of Vault Savanah's 17x7.5 for a yn57 hilux 2WD but the wheel studs appear to be too short. The wheel nuts still have a lot of thread showing. Has anyone had this problem? and what is the solution. I am not going to drive it until i am sure they wont come loose.
Are there any longer wheel studs available) ie: ford are pretty long.
Cheers

You went and bought the wrong wheels man. Which dodgy wheel shop did you buy them from?
Seriously though, go down to your local parts store and ask for longer studs. Pain in the asss to fit, but hey you get that!
regards Chuck.

I bought them from Tempe tyres, I dont think they are dodgy, definately the right ones. I will just have to chase up some longer studs, any idea who does them?

There is a place in california called Mr Lugnut who deals in studs nuts ect. If you can chase up a stockist in your state good luck.

maybe you need the nuts with the socket type end thing that goes into the wheel
not the ones with the tapered head
