Toyota buying old classics for their museum? Sat, 04 December 2004 11:49 Go to next message
Hi,

I think I remember someone saying that Toyota sends out officials to Toyota Car Shows around the world and, if they see something they want for their museum, they try and buy it or whatever.

Is this true or bs?

Someone (damn my old 1k byte memory) I can't remember said they were at the Brisbane Show recently. Again, is this true or bs?

Last year there was a silver TA22 in a melbourne toyota new car showroom still with plastic on parts of the interior and original tyres etc etc

i believe it ahd 300kms on the clock... not 300,000.... 300!!

someone offered the owner $15K i believe but that got knocked back
