MA61 strut/hub/brake upgrade: new pics!

I've been a busy boy in the last couple of days, and I have pretty much everything I need to complete the brake upgrade for my Supra. Yesterday I picked up the most important component: the custom fabricated spacer ring for the hubs:

The rest of the pics are here:
http://members.optusnet.com.au/norbee/StrutUpgrade 2/default.htm
and the original concept for those who haven't seen it is here:
http://members.optusnet.com.au/norbee/StrutUpgrade /default.htm
So I have JZX81 height-adjustable coilover struts, 300 lb/in springs, Koni adjustable strut inserts, camber plates, BA Falcon rotors (located with aforementioned spacer ring), R33 Skyline calipers, 17x8 +25 Skyline rims, and 235/45 tyres.
All that remains now is new wheel bearings, rebuilt calipers (just to be safe), and EBC pads. If all goes well I should have that next weekend, then it's time to put it all together and see what happens! Watch this space.

Bah! Having a job again is interfering with my plans. Just getting the calipers rebuilt is going to be a hassle because no-one is open on the weekend, and there's no chance of getting time off during the week.
Who wants to be my errand boy?

I suck at calipers. Last time I tried it was a dismal failure... I couldn't get the bloody piston out!

1 vice, and 2 large screw drivers.
Its a bitch as it has to come out straight, but the vice makes it MUCH easier.
The first piston took me a few mins, each one after that took about 10 secs.

air compressor and various sized blocks of wood - aim is to force all the pistons out without having any completely leave the casting.
if one pops out early you:
-get sprayed with brake fluid (tastes yummy ... not!)
-usually squash part of a finger that was still in the way (see cruzsida's pic)
-have to put it back in so the other pistons can be squeezed out (major PITA)
blocks of wood are for preventing pistons from completely leaving the bores.

That's what I'd be doing if I had an air compressor. Maybe if I blow into a tube really really hard?

if the pistons aren't seized, adn you have suitable plumbing hardware, a high pressure bike pump might work - failing that, you have to walk to the nearest petrol station...

Whats so difficult with wacking it in a vice, and levering each piston out with a screw driver?
Your not putting the screw driver on any sealing surface, and it take 2 secs to set up, and 5 secs to pop each piston out.
Its seriously the easiest way.

Picked up the calipers today, painted all shiny and black... they look cool! Cost was $154, and luckily I didn't need any new pistons... at around $20-30 each it could have been a very expensive rebuild.
Oh yeah I ordered some EBC pads while I was there (about $200 I think). I pick em up on Saturday so I'll get some measurements for you then.
