New Rims - what do you think? Sun, 05 December 2004 04:46 Go to next message
After months looking at wheels I have finally bought a set of Weds Sport SA-90 from japan to put on my White Group A ST185. Very Happy

I wanted to put blue lug nuts "Rays" but am having trouble departing with $110 US Shocked . The cheaper brands in OZ do make blue lugs for around the $40 mark but only come in a pack of 16 which means I would have to buy 2 packs Rolling Eyes

What do you guys think?

Thanks for the wrap..... well the old ones are 4 sale now and it is Xmas soon or swap for 20 blue lug nuts Laughing

They are 17 X 7.5 / 5 X 100 / offset 45

Weight is 8.7kg (Volks TE37's in same size are 7.1kg) so they are not the lightest but definitly still one of the lightest compared to the others. Im very consious of my weight Laughing

Wheels Im selling are racing hart type C and are the same size specs as the weds but also fit 4x100. They still look awesome..... maybe weds on one side and RH's on the other. Laughing Not many people have them so its something different. So different that when they got stolen I tracked them down Evil or Very Mad .I wouldnt be too dissapointed if I didnt sell them but my other half would be.They come with tire thats still got decent tread and all rims are in good nic.Throw me a figure that you think is reasonable and see if we can work something out. Cool

Hmmm... They're tempting... U in melbourne? Got any pics of when they were on your car? What offset are they? how many mm of tread left until the wear-blocks?

I'll start low, you reply high, and we'll meet in the middle.

$400 for the set Laughing

How much (ballpark) were the weds sports?

$400..... wait let me drift into a gutter first Laughing . Honestly I just like to be upfront and would like to put azienis on my weds. Cheapest I can find for a set in that size is $1000 so I really need an offer around that mark. They are racing harts and are a 3 peice rim. If I get desperate I can always sell them to a P plater with a WRX probably for a lot more. Laughing

Let me know (PM please) for more details and pics if you are still interested. Ohh and the WEDS were $1850 delivered.

Thanks

Yeah, that number WAS thrown up strictly for comic value ! Very Happy

I'll think about it, but that chrome outer-rim is doing my head in. A pic of a rim sitting next to da wheelarch would help, but my Major-League hatred of chrome rims will probably stop me.

Holler if you get snap-happy. Smile
