Just about finished conversion, motor & electrics are in, car drives well. Mechanic said I cannot use cressida tacho b'cause the 7M-GE had an electronic dizzy and the GTE has the crank sensor. This will not adapt to the tacho, he said i need to either get an external tacho(I don't want to do) or see of a Supra tacho(MA70) will adapt or fit somehow. Just wondering if someone else has done this conversion or know someone who has. I'd prefer to keep the interior in an original condition, and use the original tacho if possible. Any help would be great!!!!

Grant from SixWorks will sell you a tacho booster which will let you use the factory tacho. I have one and it works well.

I don't know for this specific model, but the taco is usually driven off the "-"ve side of the coil, now you have 3 coils,so they will each fire 1/3 the number of times.
What you may be able to do is take a pulse from each coil, run it through a set of 3 diodes to stop interference and into one wire and then use this to drive the taco.
I don't know if this will work but I can't see why it wouldn't.
Worth a try for $1.00 worth of parts.
