has anyone got an engine shipped before? roughly how much did you pay, and did you have to pay for a crane/whatever to get it off and onto the truck... how does all that work? can it be done with an engine crane?
anyway, the distance is gladstone qld to melbourne (roughly)... so any ideas?
i need to work out some figures, and thought some rough ideas and what you found were good prices would be great, thanks guys... im going to do some calls on monday

I paid $200 for my engine/wiring/gearbox package to be sent on a pallette from Adelaide to my house. I rang them to make sure they brought a truck with a hydraulic back on it, and he used a pallette jack to wheel it off. We wheeled it straight onto the trailer I had waiting for it.

$370 for AE92 GTZ cut from Brisbane to Melbourne. Depot to Depot. I pick it up on a trailer. Getting it off with an engine crane at home.
