ta22 celica owners please help

Hey hey,
can anyone please tell me what the ideal intercooler width is end tank--end tank,i am looking at buying an intercooler off ebay very shortly but dont want to end up with another IC that will require me to chop up the girl...
and i obviously am nowhere near my car at the mo.

From memory mine is 330mm x 330mm core size !
I'd measure it but you gotta pull the front end off or the radiator out.

My core is 500 wide and apart from the holes cut for the pipes, no other metal was cut!

Nice work Shane, Does your Grill and everything still fit on ok ? Due to the height of mine I couldn't go any wider without triming the lower apron. How high/tall is yours ?
Any pics of it with the tanks on and pipework in place ?
I am happy as with mine (Even if it is tiny by comparison) but need to get one done for Scrote's TA22 project. A pic like this would be great.

thanks toyman and the rest of the guys ,that checkerplate jobi looks really good!! I want to be able to put the grill on in its original place so i dont think i will go more than 50cm end tank to end tank,it looks like a custom one is the only way to go

I've got a 1ggte intercooler fitted in mine, i'll have to get a photo at some point. I'll try and do that tomorrow for you.

thanks Jake,I have an intercooler that was off a GTR of maby TX5 that all the pipework is tack welded for but would love that hidden big intercooler look,why didnt i have the money when the GB for thos hybrids was on....damn you all toooo helll!!!!
