instead of the r31 sillhoutte rear end you can use a pintara or skyline rear end with a borg warner lsd centre from a commodore or a falcon, i was told this by an axle shop in greenacre, they say to use the post 92 28 spline parts.
i picked up a good tight commodore 28 spline lsd centre for 180 bucks and i can get a complete pintara rear end for 160 bucks but im not sure if it is 28 spline, i have to pull an axle to see before i buy.

Yep, R31 Skylines had 28 spline BW78 style diffs
