Cheese toasties, most definitely. According to my friends I'm the best cheese toastie chef ever when I'm drunk.
Also, french toast is THE best recovery food. Settles the stomach AND is hot, salty, and greasy. What more could you want from morning-after food?

i love good old 7 day old souvlaki (kebab) from my local WOGGO. there is just something about that crisp sour cream that is supposed to be wet, moist and dripping. instead they chuck in the bain-marie for a good 7 days, let it crispin right up and then whack it in the toaster for 20 seconds to make the pissed customers think they are getting something gourmet........
mmmmmm mmmmmmmm.

Down the gold coast there is an Italian restaurant on orchid ave that sells $2 pizza slices at night. Their chicken pizza is absolutely the best friggin thing I have ever tasted, always end up downing a few slices each time we go down.
McMuffins are also good for the morning after or drive home if you are out really really late.

i vote against maccas as the best hang over food. i normally get a shit sandwich that tastes better...........
but i reckon the best hangover food is a steve's kebab. can't beat it. fuck all of the other crap. maccas tastes like poo. i hate it. i used to work there, i can tell some scary stories.

as long as its hot and greasy i'll eat it, when you're trashed anything will do.
i'm starting to get hooked on those microwave roast rolls because they are so readily available...
oh yeah oportos, i can vouch for the fact that you still get that nice chilli taste on the way back up

has anyone had the new gormet hamburgers from the mean fiddler? they are the best drunk food. you get em inside the sports bar (not the dodgy ones that start p by the back door at 11). they are awsome, come with an egg and bacon and chips and i want one now!!
