ECU Wiring Diagram for 5M-E

Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone has the ecu wiring diagrams for the 5m-e. i'm installing my new defi gauges 2moro and i need the diagrams. i;ve already searched everyhwere but i cant find it. i did find the efi wiring in the tech docs section but no ecu diagrams.
any help would be appreciated

I still need the ecu wiring diagram cos i looked at the wrong one. If any1 has the wiring diagram for the 5m-e, could you please post it up?

What do you need the diagram for?
The guages don't need to interface with the ecu.

The ECU doesn't have the RPM signal on it. The tacho gets its signal straight off the igniter.

speed signal maybe?
all i know is that i've got a long cable coming outta the control unit and it connects up2 something in the engine bay. My friend said he can figure it out if he has the diagrams.
anyway, time for some sleep....

Don't think the 5ME ECU even has that. It is rather primitive.

As Frank said, the ecu is basic.
Tell us the inputs to the 'control unit' and we'll tell you where to get the wires from, and if you're lucky, what colour they are.

Tacho signal wire is the -ve on the coil.
Speed sensor is the blue wire from the back of the dash (I think its blue)
Pulses 4 times per rev of the speedo.

Is there an easier way to do the speed signal? i dont want to take apart my dash if possible.
The tachometer is working, but it doesnt light up at night. I need to know where the illumination wire goes

Take the illumination of the cigarette lighter light.
Find out which one gets +12v only when the lights are on, use that.
The other place to find the speed signal is at the cruise control computer.
use www.supratsrm.com and find the MKII TSRM (the MKIII is the one it links too).
Use the cruise control section to find out which wire is the speed signal wire.

my cig lighter doesnt work.
and i dont have cruise control. looks like i hafta take apart the dash
I got the ecu wiring diagram from the tsrm site earlier but its not the right one. i think the wiring of the usdm 5m-ge ma61 is different to our australian 5m-e ma61.

i got the illumination wire hooked up yesterday, and it was working fine.
Then I realised my A/C wasnt working so I decided to secure the plug for it this afternoon.
As soon as I fixed the A/C, i tested the ilumination wire and the ignition wire.
the ign wire was good but the illumination wasnt working. The instrument panel doesnt even light up when i turn on my parking or headlights. So, I resoldered the illumination wire to the cig lighter wire but it had no effect.
Im completely stumped.
not only does my new gauge not light up, neither does the original tacho when i turn on the lights and teh rheostat isnt working either.
If any1 can help out that would be great. I have the whole day off work 2moro so if i can get it all fixed in the morning, i can mount the gauges in the afternoon and take some pics for every1 to see.

You either haven't plugged something in (like the dimmer control) or a fuse has blown.

Could have happened then yes.
I think there is a 'lamp' fuse.

Dimmer control = rheostat.
Right side of steering wheel.
If thats unplugged, it all goes down.

ok, i didnt touch the rheostat at all. must be a fuse.
i'll go check the lamp fuse now.

Hmmm, interesting that the dash lights are hooked into the taillight circuit.
Didn't know that, but it makes sense, one comes on with the other.

2 weeks after i recieved the defis, i've finished installing them. Many thanks to CrUZsida for helping out
