Xbox Streaming Help

Hi all i have my xbox modded for awhile now and i would like to stream from my pc
Im using a router and i can acccess the weather so the net is there and i can ping the xbox
when i go in to the workgroups on the xbox comes with @home i select that and it says invaild computer name
What could the problem be any suggestions whould be appreciated

Make sure you have sharing set up on your pc that doesn't require password auth, make sure your PC is set up with a propper IP address, and make sure you actually have something shared on the PC (it doesn't seem to work unless you do).
Can you FTP to the XBox from the PC?

my ip is on auto on the pc
i can ftp to the xbox
ill check if i can access my copmpter from the other tomorrow

I'll tell you for a fact that it is possible, because I do it just about every day! MP3, avi, mpeg, divx avi - I stream them all to my xbox and watch them on TV
