Your referring to the ge intake manifold?? If so it appears to have its advantages as it keeps bends in the intake path to a minimum.

Did you consider rotating the compressor side of the turbo down? or wasnt there enough clearance??

yer we tried not enuff clearance.. we were gunna run cooler pipes down next to the cold pipe but not enough room as the pod goes down there as well

gotcha...not an easy conversion, looks like it was done pretty well.

If you can get your hands on the exhaust manifold heat shield and wrap that section of the pipe up in thermal insulation it should be more than enough to keep the pipe cool...

all in all top work mate, all you need is a nice front bar and your laughin Cool

nah easy conversion.. it bolts straight on.. u dont use any of the vacum hoses block em all up that is if ur runnin after market ecu.. ill take some beter fotos wen its not rainin and show ya

that would be cool, as im considering a FMIC for my car, and the 2 chassis should have roughly the same dimensions....

Ive noticed many creative ways of routing the pipes...

if nething the 185 bay would be larger yer theres lots of ways those were just the easiest

yer just had a look all hoses are blockd up except for the brake booster of course but other than that u dont use any of the hoses that come off it.. that is of course if ur usin aftermarket ecu's....
