not one of these, but my canon i850 is cheap to run and seems quite frugal with ink use.
unless you really need/want a portable printer just for printing photos from the camera, then i'd suggest a more general office/soho printer with multiple ink tanks.
go and spend some time choosing a printer at harvey norman or myer - then find the cheapest supplier of same printer.

NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM HARVEY NORMAN!
1998:
$2,700
-------
Compaq Presario 2330
Pentium 200mhz (no MMX)
16Mb TOTAL RAM
1.96GB HDD
33.6kbps Internal Fax Modem
Windows 95
OK, 16mb TOTAL RAM!!
In actual fact I had 13.96Mb RAM, 2.04mb RAM was used for video. Have you ever heard of this?! I mean on today's newer comps maybe but back then this is stupid crazy stuff.
I could NOT run ICQ and Internet Explorer at the same time.
I doube-clicked an ICQ message once, came back to the computer literally 10 minutes later and it was making crazy noises and it still hadn't opened.
The fact that my ram was broken up like that REALLY pissed me off. This tactic was developed by Compaq who have since bought dell and you can see this happening with Dell products.
Your best bet with any computer stuff is to have a friend who knows what he/she is doing to help you out.
Do NOT trust the big retailers. They are full of shit.
