To rebuild the GZE or buy a 2nd hand GZE that is the question

The issue is that I could be in a position that I may need to keep my car for another 2 1/2 years (It's an AE82 with a gze that already has had the motor in for over 2 years) and that I've already done 82k on a motor with an already supposed 90k.
So basically while I'm still a little cashed up I'm just looking for people's opinions on if they think it's worth rebuilding the gze I have (gen3) or if it's still worthwhile just sourcing a 2nd hand block?
I wouldn't be looking to mod either one much, probably just a pulley kit and new clutch (still runs the OEM clutch). So I'm just looking for what people think is the most 'practical' option..

Andrew, save your money man.
If it aint broke, dont fix it!
Just been down the 4AGZE rebuild road, cost near on $2,000.00!
Honestly, I have seen 4AGE engines with 300,000 kilometres on them, and still going strong. I cant see a well treated 4AGZE being much different.
My Seca had 310,000 kilometres on it when I bought it. I only changed the engine, because I had a spare sitting here, when I needed to change the clutch!
regards Chuck.

if it is in fact in need of a rebuilt...why replace shit with shit??
Ie rebuild it and you have a near new motor, not have another 1/2 rooted one...
