the alternator adjusting bracket is differnet, depending on which bracket you are using. where have you mounted the alternator and what block mount do you have???????. I have 1 type, not the other.

Hi terry, i have an ae92 AFM gze bigport, being used in rwd.
No P/S or A/C

The alt is currently mounted on a custom bracket on the right, as I longer have the S/C strapped to the left, I am looking to move it over there.

the proper RWD alternator bracket sits it low down by the sump on the RH side. I buy these brackets in from Toyota Japan at huge cost. I am waiting on the alternator adjuster to match, as I used up my last one recently. you can use the FWD alternator bracket, but it sits it up high. I have a spare adjuster to suit that version I think. My workshop is out at Ipswich. come take a look at the correct stuff if you want, and see how it fits your application. email me at work on roadandtrack@hypermax.net.au, or ph 32018866. terry
