WTB - 3SGTE short motor (suit rebuild ok) Sat, 11 December 2004 07:19 Go to next message
As it says, any gen OK, but must have block with all bearing caps/bolts and oil pump/oil pickup & sump (if possible)
Prefer Sth EAst QLD /Nth NSW but will consider other areas dependant on price etc etc.
Thanks
Steve

What are your requirements for bore size? I have gen 2 and 3 blocks here both at 20" overbore if it suits your application?

Yep both are suitable. Freight from WA sounds scary though. I'll keep looking locally, but thanks!

I can get freight into Brisbane quite cheaply actually, if it interests you?

I have a complete short block from a ST185 that I pulled running from my car 5 weeks ago. Motor is in good condition. Blows *no* smoke and uses no oil.

Missing knock sensor and oil pump pulley/rotor only from memory.

Located at Shailer Park (southside Bris).

Make me an offer Smile If you don't want the complete short block (ie.. pistons, rods etc), let me know and maybe we can strike a deal.
