yeah i admit it stupid question here but if you were to leave your car in drive for two days (that is another stupid story in itself) would that drain the battery. because my battery was dead after leaving my car in drive. the evidence suggest that it does but my thinking tells me this should not happen.
any thoughts.?
cheers
hugh.

could be some dodgy wiring draining the battery
or the alternator not charging sufficiently
or maybe you left your lights on

agreed thats a stupid question, no leaving it in drive won't drain the battery unless you leave your keys in it and leave it on, i left my car keys on the "on position once, that will flatten your battery in about 1-2hours. but leaving it in drive with the ignition turned off shouldn't drain the battery unless it has some dodgey wiring somewhere.
