sounds like its running a bit hot. i had my cooling system checked on my 3sgte and the thermo fan would switch on at 92-94degrees and switch off after 35secs down to 84degrees. this was done with the radiator cap off and a thermometer in it...

where do you have the gauge sender pluged into. is it electrical or mechanical...might just have the gauge in a hot part of the engine..should always be as close as possible to the tempsender..

Why the hell would you want your fan on all the time? That's a bit like using a torch on a sunny day Laughing

70 to 78 thats bullshit

what is yr thermostat openin at

most themrostats open at 82 deg

so yr thermostat would be openin closing openin closing

in theory the thermo fan should turn off at just sabove the temp of thermostat

so turn on at about 87 to 90 then turn off at about 84
