Injector electolysis baths.....

Can someone tell me a bit about injector baths?
I'm wondering what voltage they use and what the solution is in particular.
I'm thinking (along with magnew) that if we had a few people together, we could spend a day & pull out all our injectors for a bit of a bath, occupy ourselves with some sort of entertainment for a few hours, then set up a flow bench to test the injectors.
Setting everything up for one set of injectors would be a bit of a waste of time, but if we were doing a half dozen or so, it would be well worth it, considering injector cleaning costs up to $300!

Not all injectors can be cleaned or it doesn't work very good.
From memory the pintle cap injectors are the only ones that come out good (possibly the other way around).
For around $320 you could just get new ones...
four cylinder?

Jeese that's dirt cheap for a set of those injectors but unfortuneately i'm after some 550cc 7mgte ones.
Its an ultrasonic bath by the way. I did mine at TAFE courtesy of my old man, bathed them and then flow benched them.
Maybe enroll in a fuel injector cleaning course at TAFE take your injectors along. Seen everyone else do that, the best place for foreign orders

That's a good idea. Even if you just asked one of the teachers they probably wouldn't say no. And they wouldn't charge much, if at all.

what NZ retailer is that?
does anyone know what injectors can go into what engines? is there a site or a matrix that I can work it out from? Anyone know if the 7M injectors can go into the 1UZ? (I should ask jamie I suppose)
I'm up for an injector cleaning day if its going to happen.

CORRECTION
I was wrong about those supra injectors.
The retailer is actually American. Not NZ. My bad.
I was looking at a NZ site that did a conversion and got stuff from the US(i just assumed they were in nz too).
So they're a lot more expensive than i said before.
Heres the page if you're still interested...
