Hey mate,
I have a 20v in an ae92 sx, second and third gear are fairly crunchy.
When you say 'were working fine', would you say that all the synchro's etc were in good nick and there was no crunching at all between shifts ?
Thanks mate,
Seeks.
PS I'm not asking to be rude or anything, I just really dont wanna swap boxes and end up in the same situation that I'm in now.

Hey sprinterman,
Thanks for the quick reply, i dont want to screw you around so just letting you know i'm still sitting on the fence a bit.
How long did you get to drive a vehicle with this gearbox in it ? Did you get a chance to give shift through the gears at high-ish rpm ?
Specifically was there any problem shifting 1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd or 3rd back down to 2nd.
Sorry to badger you, just thinking that if you got a bit of a chance to drive with the gearbox, you probably should of been able to notice it fairly easy if there was a problem.
Thanks,
Seeks.
