3t-c crank for 2t-geu Mon, 13 December 2004 07:24 Go to next message
hey i have read a coupl of places that the crank, pistons etc from a 3t-c in a te72 t18 corolla fit into a 2t-geu from a JDM te71 levin. could someone please verify this for me and if it is possible what sort of work is required. i have a nearly complete donor motor so parts arent as big an issue. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks. craig

ok so i found sum info on the hybrid i want to build. what i had read was right but im still unsure about a few things. will the 3tc piston tops need to be machined so that the valves dont hit or are they ok? and will the 3tc pistons just got straight in my cylinder or will i need new rings etc? searching didnt tell me if its a straight forward swap or not so could anyone enlighten me. Hardness, problems, parts needed etc. thanks. craig
