I could possibly take the complete bonnet if need be. How much are you wanting for it? Any rust?

To be honest, I'm not 100% sure. If someone can spot the difference, pls let me know. It was allegedly GT, but who knows..

TBH... you wouldn't really want the gt style bonnet vents unless you want to drill holes in your bonnet. If you track down a bonnet with the holes already in it, I'll guarantee there will be rust in it.
As for the grill, to my knowledge, the Jap GT ones had the GT badge to the right instead of in the centre, and if you see one of these Jap GT grills, there will be those holes you have in the centre of your grill, but to the right and at an angle.
Now for the GTV grill, the holes would be in the same place as you have on your grill. The GTV badge was in the centre unlike the GT one.
As for the US, they had a silver GT badge in the centre where the GTV one went. So I'm guessing that its either a US GT grille or a Jap GTV grill
Well thats to my knowledge anyway

thats cool fade-e, $200 is a bit out of my price range too, especially around christmas!
Although if it is an original GTV grill, it does make it more interesting and tempting...but I think I have to let this one go...sorry

If the bonnet was in good condition I would of arranged the pickup myself. But its cool.
As for the grill, I have one if anyone is interested. Same as the one above but mine has some yellow paint on it and has the middle top tab missing. $75 plus postage and it goes to a new owner.

Sorry guys. Been partying a little for a while now, and I wasn't getting any notifications of posts either...
Jeri - from memory, bumpers are ok. Possibly a little bit of surface rust. One is chrome, one is painted orange. So naturally, quite cheap. Case of Beer??
Riceburna - let me see how much I drink over xmas, and the price of the grill might come down if you're still interested
Celica73 - possibly. Just emailed myself to remember to check.
Merry Xmas guys!!

I'm sick of coming on here and reading all your tight ass whinging posts. You guys are talking about GT/GTV grilles as if they are a dime a dozen. The going rate for a grille in good condition is around $200. You want to have a classic sports car but dont want to pay for it. You should seriously think about the costs involved in restoring an old vehicle before u start. I dont believe Kerr is being unreasonable. The only bidding wars that occur on here are how cheap u can get something for.
