WTD - AFM for 5M-E (Melb. Please) Mon, 14 October 2002 22:42 Go to next message
Wanted...
Airflow meter for a 5M-E. My mechanic tampered with mine and is buring too much petrol. I am not happy with the mechanic.

Hoping to find a Airflow Meter with original factory settings and please, Melbourne people only...

Cheers

its not hard to fiddle your ecu back into tune. using too much fuel = running rich = too slack spring tesnion in afm. crack the lid off of the afm, and tighten the white cog two notches against the spring tension. drive and see how it goes. still to rich, try another two notches...etc etc.

piece of piss, dont need a new afm Smile
