Mould for Clear indicators...who's in ??? Tue, 15 October 2002 03:31 Go to next message
Hey all

Im thinking i MIGHT possibly go to some place to get a mould made for some clear front indicators for the TA22.

Id like to know who's in so could get a quote from some place and see if its worth it finance wise.

Giving me an idea of your top $$$ would be good aswell

Its only a maybe at this stage

I think that the park light lenses are now hard to get as well. Phil's rotary sell locally made lenses and badges for all the early RX's so it certainly feasible.

Thats the best first post ive ever seen... Confused

With the issue of quality ...i would have no idea ...but ill get a few quotes from trusty professional expensive places....and backstreet cheaper places...

and celicamad yeah thanx mate a quote would be good

and Witzl...im pretty sure the fronts on the 28's are the same as the 23's ?? if so no the 22 indicators wont fit

Very interested in seeing the end product. Price sounds good but remember boys we need quality. Perfection is the secret to success. I'll watch this space for pics.

Good luck, a great idea

I have had a trial fit one on my seca for a couple of months now. It would be a lot easier if I had the hatch type little square ones. The seca (and sedan) are wrapped around.

My method is a little cheap and nasty. I got some fluoro light cover material and cut it to shape. Then bolt over existing orange lens. This saves having to fix up with an orange globe which have a different pin pattern (offset versus directly opposite).
I broke the other one when trying to bend it. Maybe try some heat to make it easier to bend. It looks OK to me, and I have had a similar set up on my other car for a couple of years.
