You should get more than $6k for this car. Personally, I would pay closer to $8k. Watch out for people trying to rip you off!
Some minor points that may help you sell:
-How long on the rego?
-Engineering papers for 20v conv.
-How fast is it? (It looks fast!)
Hope this helps!
Good luck with your sale.

thanks for the positive feedback guys.
i was thinking round the 7-8 k mark
in regards to rego, its got til oct next year
engineering cert isnt required in vic as the engine is the same capacity etc, according to vicroads....
in terms of speed, well its not slow, but not a speed demon at the same time... dont get me wrong tho, it keeps up and beats cars that it has no right to even come close to..

dont take this as gospel. im only going by what vicroads told me when i re-registered it, he queried the engine number and i told him of the swap, he checked it up and all was good..

Put it this way.. stock SECA SX's with ~150,000km on the clock are selling for $6-6,500... i'd say ... you'd get around $7-8,000... if not a bit more. Depends on the kind of person buying i guess. Goodluck!

it has aircon (which works), the heating is rather temprmental tho. has powersteering, central locking, alarm and immobiliser, no longer has the 17's in the pics, riding on stockies atm
been serviced every time it needs it! (at minimum every 5000k)
the car is quick for what it is, but its no rocket. the engine is in good nick, it hasnt skipped a beat in the 16odd months that ive owned it. the car gets lots of looks when u give it a bootful (it has to be heard to be beleived!!) at the same time i have never had any attention from the police, it is just a corolla after all!
ive replied to a few pm's
feel free to ask me any more q's
cheers
james

It will cost hardly anything to fly down and drive back up.
Good luck with the sale, it's well worth what you are asking bass_boy

as far as getting it on the road in other states i have no idea, u would have to contact local authorities.
the conversion was done by toyospares here in melb by the previous owner (i have the receipts)
the gearbox is fine (its typically toyota tho with second gear a little snathcy at times)
forgot to mention that it has a short shift kit fitted too
