hey rodney. i was looking at the members car section and noticed u have a 2t-gteu. as in turbo yeah? what parts are required to make a 2t-geu into turbo. required mods etc? what turbo r u running? psi? im looking into maybe just a simple bolt on for my 2T as im not planning to keep it long. i dont want to have to bother with forged pistons etc. its either turbo the 2T-geu or just keep going with my 2T/3T hybrid. or is it possible to blow the 3T hybrid on stock 3t psitons with something close to 10:1 comp ratio i think i read it makes it. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks. craig

you CAN turbo just about any petrol powered N/A motor. However there are limitations inherent in every engine's individual design and construction.
os for what is required... well that all depends on what you want your end result to be. It would be like saying "how much money do i need to buy a car?"

Craig,
if your looking for short term fun and don't much care what happens to the engine, Just bolt on the 3T-GTE turbo and manifold, run the water and oil feed lines and increase your fuel supply with adjusted timing.
I don't recommend it ! But in theory it should go ok for a while. As long as you get it tuned to suit !
As for my engine.. all the details are in the thread. The first post details most components and as for cost... You really don't want to know !
