Just curious to learn whether the 4AGE is of non-interference type (does damage occur if timing belt snaps). Thanks lads.

hmm,
1. they have become a favourite of DoRiFtO wannabe wankers??
2. every man and their dog has done a 4AG conversion (and i prolly will too )
3. supply from importers will slowly dry up and since none of these dorifto kiddies can rebuild a motor, they will rot in junkyards..
4. they are not as fully sik to da max as a hektik EXA turbo maaaate..

NONE! one of the best, if not the best, production engines in the world for power & reliability.
a clockwork jewel of an engine in my opinion.
