Death on Lappy Night

I'm not sure if anyone knows this, but last thursday on the lappy night, just off the main track a girl was killed by a Semi...
It wasn't any accident apparently she was trying to commit scuicide. I think it took her a few goes but she finally succeded.
I don't know much about this incident, maybe someone else might. but it's a preety tragic event. i'll c if i can find out more about it. i doubt i'll be successful.
PS: I live in Rockhampton, QLD.

I think that's really selfish. She had no thoughts for how much it would upset and hurt the people around her like her family and the truck driver. Only thinking about her self.

Er..."LAPPY" sounds pretty gay, maybe you should stick to blockies.
ON a darker note, I wonder what it ffels like to be so depressed that you attempt suicide, only to fail? Talk about useless...

My dad used to work for the railways in Melbourne and he knows a few driver's that have hit people. One apparently dropped down from a bridge infront of his friend and splattered up against the windscreen of the train. After months of therapy he couldn't drive a train under a bridge without flashbacks and had to quit his job because of the tramour.
Someone else he know's services the trains and when they have them over the pit they often find body parts that have been missed after a suicide.
I think it's awful, I've been through a lot of shit with my life but not once I have thought of killing myself. I don't know how people could get that depressed with themselves.
