If not stock, then what? Definitely NOT paying 200 bucks for a piece of rubber moulded around a bolt. Its extortion. I am sending my two friends to Japan to sort this out!
Until they return with a huge bag of free mounts, can I buy some s/hand at a reasonable price?ie $30 [depending on condition of course] all is negotiable! Thanks. Pete.

$200 is still a good price.
I think they are about $600 genuine.

I could be wrong on that price, but I'm pretty sure genuine ones are $600 a side.
You should get some Poly-Urethane ones made up.
Never break again.

I don't know anyone who has done it
I've only heard local jza70 boys talk about it due to the cost of genuine ones.

http://www.rollersandliners.com.au/ can re-manufacture the original mounts for about $80 a side I have been informed. I'm going to try and get over there this week with my chaser mounts to get them re-made.

Yep, around $280 each, landed, for new JZX90 mounts.
Extortion? You betcha!
According to Planet Soarer, UZ mounts are $165 + GST, new from Castle Hill Toyota - which sounds a little more realistic.
Reco sounds the way to go!

When I ordered my JZX81 Chaser engine mounts from Japan, earlier this year, they cost me AU$128 and AU$122 for the Left and Right hand side respecively so I don't know why you would pay $600...

are you talking about the alloy mounts, or the rubber insulators? The insulators are the same part for left and right.
