I have one in my car its in great condition, am looking to sell it when i can line up a Cusco or TRD 2 way LSD.
any idea how much they would be worth? My diff that is.. not the cusco.

the lsd unit itself, in good condition is worth up to around $600 - depends on the lsd condition, and how desperate someone is for it. at $200 it's a complete bargain!!

too bad you're in Adelaide, but how would I be able to tell if the LSD will fit into my stock Jap spec diff housing? (I remember hearing there's 2 types?)

the update type is very rare - was made only in '87. it has larger diameter axles. is a small article on club4age showing the difference in sizes. odds are you have a pre-update one.

thanks T, reading it now..
so is Simon's diff pre-87 too? What type of LSD in the jap spec? Are you selling the diff centre only or the whole assembly?
Don't think I can afford it at the moment, but let us know when you're selling (I assume you're not selling it yet) I may be able to afford it by that time..

My diff would be the Pre 87 type, and it fits ONLY the jap spec disk break rear end not the aust spec drum rear, i believe they use a stub nosed diff LSD which is very rare.
i will only be selling the LSD not the rear end.. im going to be swapping it for a cusco unit.
not sure what time frame.. that if anyones keen or wants to put a registration of interest in let me know and they will get first dibs when the time comes.

Hi Simon, no problems, count me in, let me know when you want to sell and see if I can afford it then.. The Jap spec is 1.5way right? In the mean time, don't trash it and take great care of it ok?

no this car, diff and etc has LONG been passed on. I even had several other T series LSD's for sale in between then and now.
ALSO they ARE T series and no F's
lol
