Anyone? I can't find any info on this. A lot of people say it's common but I'm just having a hard time finding out anything.

Man - to have a TE27
Almost sacrilege to put an A series engine when the T series will fit oh so easily.
You have been steered correctly toward the KE25 crew to complete such a conversion.
Good luck

The car isn't actually mine yet, we're kinda working out the details. Who gets what parts, how much I'll give him for it, etc. It has a 2tc with a spun bearing so I'm just going over my options before I dump a bunch of $$$ into it. Sorry I don't know anyone with a sr5 guage cluster/dash. Actually this is the first sr5 I've ever even seen. Very rare car. I used to own a 73te27 but not the sr5. Once I get it I'll put some pics up on my website. Your right too, Australia is a good place for tech info. You guys are pretty knowledgeable about these cars. Not any big wings or 19" wheels, it's nice change of pace. Everyone here is Honda, Honda, Honda. Not really too many Toyotas to speak of, especially not the good old ones.
