Not really, the 3T is the engine of choice for the 4-cylinder drag racers in Puerto Rico. It's built like a tank so they can shove insane amounts of boost into it and run 8 second passes. Good luck doing that with a 4A-GE!

anyone notice that its not running an intercooler?

does sugges good things about the lower induced heat load from centrifugal compressors (versus a more traditional roots blower)

low boost (12psi) and an extra 200hp from nitrous+fuel makes for an interesting combination.

any ideas/thoughts on life expectancy of the engine (serious query)?

and it is running pump fuel not methanol. Although, doesn't nitrous cool intake temps? Can't remember.

Looks like a damn crazy car and love the piss on rotary sticker Razz

Yup, a 200 shot of gas has a massive cooling effect... he could be running water/methanol injection as well. Centrifugal superchargers make just as much heat as a turbo, ie more than enough to warrant some form of intercooling!

Oh and life expectancy for any 1.8 litre engine running 8's is pretty damn low I think. Smile

you could call it a trueno, but it's not like it is a full bodied car... effectively it's just a drag frame with a 3T Wink but it's a very insane 3T Very Happy
