as per a similar topic (7mgte to 1jz) i wonder how hard it is to convert my MZ21 to a 1jzgte its a 88 so i gather i'll need to buy a JA70 supra 1/2 cut will that cross member fit in? and then will the engine bolt into my engine bay, with the need to swap over the transmision's, and the normal EFI wire up etc. Will the dash and all the other funky computer bits inside the car complane with a new engine/ECU? just want to know if there will be ALOT more problems than the normal conversion due to all the soarer electronics. thanks Ben P.S thinking ahead as my 7mgte has 181,000Km's on the clock (stock and still orig head gasket ! ) [Updated on: Wed, 16 October 2002 04:24] [Report message to a moderator]

further looking into this maybe a chaser is the best bet ( i hear they go into a MX cresida dead straight and the soarer MZ20 very similar? would this conversion be as straight forward? Also anyone know the MZ20 weight (GT limited) i have 1250 tare on the rego sticker, but have heard up to 1800Kgs for the car??? idea's? P.S anyone know if the tv and touch screen will still work with a new engine? or do they interact with the ecu (such as the fuel efficency graph etc) [Report message to a moderator]
