seatbelts Mon, 20 December 2004 14:40 Go to next message
Hi All
i changed my seatbelts over to a set that have an undamaged buckle and i only just noticed that the belt takes some effort to lock the belt now.

The effort is so much that it seems to me that the belt would not lock quickley enough and i cannot test the old set until tomorrow as i would need to fit them to the car to get a realistic idea .... can you get the inertial reel overhauled or replaced
as the hachi has them mounted on a slight angle and the plate thingo attached makes it hard

Ideas?

Cheers

Ben

they work on the angle it is unwound. try moving the reel so that it's on a slightly different angle and see if that gives the effect your after.
that's why sometimes you can't unwinde a seat belt if the car's on a hill.
